International Coastal Cleanup®

Join the fight against ocean pollution with International Coastal Cleanup!

Ocean Conservancy's International Coastal Cleanup has been leading a global effort to clean up coastlines and remove plastic and debris from the ocean for over 35 years. With the help of 17 million volunteers worldwide, more than 350 million pounds of waste have been collected and recorded to aid in international research and legislation.

On 16th September 2023, Live Here Love Here, the local coordinator for the campaign, hosted clean-up events along Northern Ireland's coastlines to promote a global day of action. Many volunteers joined us as we worked together to protect the sandy shores and marine life from harmful pollutants.
